New updates on 7 Cha contributors: Aditi Rao, Arjun Rajendran, Changming Yuan, Nabina Das, Anuradha Vijayakrishnan, Berit Ellingsen and Birgit Linder

Four Cha contributors have new works published in the August 2012 issue of The Four Quarters Magazine. Read Nabina Das's short story "Asking Anandi" (pp. 8-10), six poems by Aditi Rao (pp. 93-96), Changming Yuan's poems "Natural Confrontations" (p. 108) and "January 2: for Yuan Hongqi" (p. 109) and Arjun Rajendran's poem "Over a Cup of Coffee" (pp. 114-115) in the new issue.

Birgit Linder
Congratulations to Birgit Linder! Her poetry collection has been named a semi-finalist of the Proverse Prize (2012). Birgit, born in Germany and educated in Germany and the USA, has previously lived in Taiwan and China. She is currently teaching in Hong Kong. You can see the full list of semi-finalists here. The finalists will be announced on 20 November 2012 and the winner (or two joint-winners) will be announced in the Spring of 2013. Congratulations, Birgit! And good luck!
