W.F. Lantry's poems "Rutter's Requiem" and "La Belle" are published in the Winter 2011 issue of The Linnet's Wings. "La Belle" ends beautifully with the following stanza:
caress the lavender between her lips-
my voice fades to a quiet stream
feeding a gentle lust
and while my fingers, slowing, lightly comb
her trembling warmth, she starts to sing
just as the long wave breaks.
