Introducing "Writing the City"

Writing the City is a cultural and creative pace for students and alumni from the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of Hong Kong to publish their creative pieces including poetry, short fiction, pictures, photo essays and other forms of creative works.

As Henri Lefebvre says, “Art can become praxis and poiesis on a social scale: the art of living in the city as a work of art.” We hope that this blog will provide a modest beginning to the realization of our long-term dream of living in the city as a work of art.
