Daphne Wong, a young, energetic and starving travelling artist and photographer will be one of the artists having works exhibited at Showcase-London on 22nd July, 2009.
At this exhibition, a series of oil paintings on wood panels by Daphne will be showcased. The paintings are based on both Daphne's photography and her imagination, displaying a strong sense of detachment and loneliness. She is highly attentive to details and very brave in selecting colours, resulting in a 'messy' impressionistic style.
