Great news! Cha contributor Sushma Joshi's book of short stories The End of the World, has been longlisted for the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award 2009. Other books on the list include Kazuo Ishiguro's Nocturnes (Faber and Faber Limited) and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's The Thing Around Your Neck (Fourth Estate LTD).Sushma feels that it is an honor to be on the same list as these writers whose work she loves.
